Color Center is a company that sells commercial and industrial paint. Apart from rebranding a company that already has 3 stores in the Puerto Rican metropolitan area, our challenge was to position and givevisibility to a business that is traditionally B2B. After 12 years in business, we wanted to, through modern branding, differentiate them from their competition in an industry that does not typically place importance on branding.
For the logo, we created a linear icon that represents the rotation of the spectrum and the joining of the two C’s in Color Center. We also created a custom typography with the same concept of the rotation around the pivot. The curves you find in the icon inspired the Brand Spectrums createdfor Color Center’s brand development.
The color palette used for Color Center’s branding is inspired from the color spectrum. We not only wanted to allude to the color spectrum, but also help people understand all the possible colors they can find at Color Center. That idea gave birth to: “Spectrum of Products,” which is the tagline we created for Color Center. Our goal was to create a brand that could represent a line of commercial products.
