Our greatest challenge with CUT was to turn a visit to the butcher’s into a whole experience. CUT is a butcher shop specializing in prime and specialty meats. Its identity has the mission of projecting simplicity and elegance at the same time. The brand wants to educate the public on types of meat and ways of cooking it, and aspires to become a cult brand. Meat lovers will find a haven in this brand and will proudly carry its shopping bag as a status symbol. The barn aesthetic complements the brand’s voice. Its logo references the mark left by a branding iron; it’s both a turned C and a U.
